After an incredible and enlightening resurgence of life after lockdown we are now experiencing a renaissance of the live music scene, so what better time to announce a SUMMER edition of Icebreaker Festival taking place on Saturday 9th July 2022 on the vibrant streets of Southsea.
For the last 8 years Icebreaker has created an opportunity for acts from across the region to showcase their talent to packed venues for music-lovers. From acoustic singer-songwriters to hip-hop, soul to ska, pop to metal, and indie to techno, the eclectic mix that is always promised has proven there is something for everyone.
The summer offering of this award-winning festival will host over 100 acts across 11 stages in multiple venues and pubs on Albert Road and Elm Grove with wristband entry.
In addition to selecting headliners from the fine music scene that we already enjoy, festival organisers are currently reviewing over 700 applications from artists far and wide.
Keep your ears to the ground for bundles of headliner announcements and waves of acts keen to break waves on the south coast.
Tickets go on sale Friday the 18th of March 2022.
