We are delighted to announce that we have teamed up with Music Fusion for Icebreaker Festival 2019. Music Fusion are a local charity who work with 50 young people per week and over 500 new young people each year. They help young people experiencing challenging life circumstances to access musical provision. Music helps them connect with young people that are disengaged. By working with genres that are credible and relevant to their young people they can help them to build confidence, self-esteem and communication skills. When they meet other young people in similar circumstances, they gain an important sense of perspective and feel less isolated. Writing and recording their original material, then performing it live, can be extremely cathartic and a transformative process.
